Verification
Want members to complete a few checks before getting access to your server? Our verification tools let you choose how they verify and which roles they receive afterwards.
Create a verification panel
- Open your server dashboard and go to Security → Verification.
- Enable verification and create or choose a panel.
- Choose its verification channel and the roles to add or remove.
- Select the verification method and configure its options.
- Save your changes, then post the panel in the chosen channel.
Make sure your panel stays enabled and Blob can see its channel. We'll also need permission to manage the roles you've selected.
Methods
One-click
Keep things simple with a button or command that gives members their verified role. You can change the success message and stop already verified members from going through it again.
CAPTCHA
Ask members to complete a CAPTCHA before we give them their role. You can use a form inside Discord or an online challenge, and choose how long members have to finish it and how many attempts they get.
Roblox
If your community uses Roblox, members can link their account through Connected Apps and then return to verify. Your panel's Roblox settings control whether they need an account linked already.
Use /verify
Prefer using a command? Members can use /verify once you've enabled it for your server. We'll take them through the same checks as the enabled verification panel for that channel.
If someone uses it in the wrong place, we'll point them to your verification channel. Using the command doesn't skip any of the checks you've set up.
You can manage all of this from your dashboard.
Troubleshooting
- Disabled: check both verification and the panel are enabled, and that
/verifyis enabled in the command settings. - Wrong channel: run the command in the channel assigned to the panel.
- No role: check Manage Roles and blob's position in the role hierarchy.
- Expired CAPTCHA: start verification again to create a new challenge.
