Forms

Need applications, feedback or a questionnaire for your server? Forms lets you build a page people can fill in and keep the responses together in your dashboard.

Create a form

  1. Open Forms → Form Builder in your server dashboard and create a form.
  2. Give it a title and description that explain what you're asking for.
  3. Add your questions, choose their types and mark any required questions.
  4. Add answer options or limits where the question type supports them.
  5. Choose whether people need to sign in and whether submissions are restricted to server members.
  6. Set any submission limits and cooldowns, then save.

Standard servers must require Blob login for submissions. The dashboard shows which options and active form limits are available on your plan.

Share your form

Keep a form as Draft while you're working on it. When it's ready, change its status to Active, save and share its public URL.

You can adjust the public page's appearance in the builder. Take a look at the form yourself before sharing it so you can check the wording and required fields.

If you choose a Discord submission channel, we'll also post submissions there. Make sure Blob can send messages in that channel, and only give access to people who should see the answers.

Review submissions

Open Forms → Submissions, choose the form and open a response to read it. You can also remove submissions from this area.

Check the Allow resubmit after deletion setting before deleting an entry if you expect that person to apply again. Your submission mode and cooldown can affect when they can submit another response.

Keep questions sensible

Only ask for information you actually need. Please don't ask people to submit passwords, authentication codes or other account secrets. Let them know who will read their answers and what you're using them for.
