Moderation and command access

We give you tools to help keep your server running smoothly. To get started, open Security in your server dashboard and choose moderation or automatic moderation. Pick the settings, channels and roles that work for your community, then save your changes.

Command availability

Don't need every command? You can turn individual commands or whole categories on and off in your command settings. Some moderation actions also need the right Discord permissions or a staff group set up first.

Keep in mind that turning a command on won't give Blob extra Discord permissions. We'll still need permission to make role changes or take action in a channel.

Find a command

Not sure which command you need? Our command list shows what's available and how to use it. Arguments marked with <required> are required. Arguments marked with [optional] are optional.

When a command is unavailable

If a command isn't working, here are a few things to check:

  • The command and its category are enabled.
  • The member has the required permissions or staff access.
  • blob can view and act in the relevant channel.
  • blob's highest role is high enough for the requested action.

For verification-specific rules, see Verification.
