Commands

You don't have to make every command available in your server. Our command settings let you choose what's enabled and adjust how supported commands work.

Set up command access

  1. Open Commands in your server dashboard. You can also open a module's Commands page to focus on its categories.
  2. Find the command or category you want to change.
  3. Turn it on or off and check any staff group restrictions.
  4. Open its settings if you want to change the options available for that command.
  5. Save your changes.

Some commands have extra controls, such as cooldowns, maximum durations, message limits or requiring a reason. The available limits can depend on your server's plan.

Permissions still apply

Enabling a command doesn't let someone bypass Discord permissions or Blob's staff access checks. Both the person using it and Blob still need the access required for that action.

If a command isn't working, check its category, individual setting, staff restrictions and Discord permissions before changing anything else.

Find the right command

Our command list explains what's available. Arguments marked with <required> are required. Arguments marked with [optional] are optional.

For /verify, the member also needs to use the channel assigned to an enabled verification panel. You can read more in our verification guide.
